Why is it that Nigerians first time home buyers have to search for properties on one platform and then go to another platform to verify the properties? Seems like a lot of work and hassle.
Well Trustcrow listened and we’ve built a powerful platform that combines both a marketplace for pre-vetted properties and the ability to conduct due diligence, all on a single platform (so yes we’re shamelessly promoting our own product. But if it’s beneficial to us Nigerians, why keep this all to ourselves).
How is Trustcrow different from other platforms?
Verified Property Listings Sourced Directly from Sellers and Developers
The properties on the Trustcrow marketplace are not sourced by third parties. Instead, Trustcrow sources properties directly from sellers and developers. By doing this, Every property is pre-vetted through a three-step process: 1) collecting property documentation such as building permit and title number, 2) investigating the developers/sellers background to verify they have a track record of performance, and 3) ensuring there is a direct mandate from the owner to sell the property. This means buyers can browse with confidence, knowing each listing is legitimate and backed by verified documents.
Get Insider Knowledge with Trustcrow’s Neighborhood Property Specialists
Each property on the Trustcrow marketplace is listed by a neighborhood specialist who knows the area inside out. This ensures that buyers get access to insider knowledge on the location, from price trends and nearby infrastructure to safety, schools, and accessibility.
Conduct Complete Property Due Diligence Online with Trustcrow
After a buyer finds a property and submits an accepted offer, they can navigate to Trustcrow’s due diligence web page and investigate the property using Trustcrow’s due diligence products. A buyer can choose to conduct basic due diligence, including confirming ownership and encumbrances like mortgages or disputes, or can choose to conduct complete due diligence site visit by both legal representative and surveyor, survey plan check and coordinate verification, physical inspection of land boundaries and markers, seller identity verification and background check, probate Registry Search (for inherited properties), and Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) status search (if seller is a company).
